What Makes Us Different?
Psychological Counseling with Compassion isn't your typical group practice. We're building something different - a place where therapists can do meaningful clinical work with the support and autonomy, they need to build essential skills to practice independently.
Our Practice:
Located in Rockville Centre, NY, we provide both in-person and virtual therapy options. Our clinicians have the flexibility to work in a hybrid setting that best serves their clients while receiving comprehensive support for their professional development. We require evenings and weekends.
What We Offer:
- A varied caseload, including any combination of children, adolescents, adults and couples with diagnosis spanning from depressions and anxiety through more complex concerns such as compulsive and attention based disorders.
- Clinical autonomy to develop individualized treatment approaches.
- Comprehensive supervision focused on both clinical practice and administrative functions.
- Training in clinical documentation and insurance navigation.
- Support in developing your distinct clinical voice while building toward full licensure.
- Collaborative team environment with experienced supervisors guiding you.
Not so fun stuff:
- Unfortunately, we are not able to work with individuals working in multiple group practices.
- All clinical staff must work select weekends and see clients both in person and telehealth
Our Requirements:
- Counseling with Compassion requires all clinicians to work with patients in person, evening and/or weekend.
- We allow all clinicians to choose two
- Clinicians working in acute, subacute and/or facility environments.
